takes a little practice i have owned a number of French Presses. This works very well, I am pleased. I was going to rate it four stars instead of five because i needed to make adjustments in part made necessary because it is not a clear glass cylinder (can’t see either the coffee or the color of the coffee). Once i learned the capacity and desired quality relative to my measuring scoop and mug size, it is my French Press of choice.The design keeps the coffee warm to hot much longer than the clear glass…

This Cuisinox gives me the perfect amount of coffee, there is way less sludge at the bottom (if any), the double walled design keeps the coffee hot and it will never break. When I ordered it, my husband said it cost too much. Now he wants one just like it for himself. You can’t go wrong with this French Press so forget the tiny glass ones and go straight to the perfect solution.

A handy tool For the coffee lover. I prefer using a French Press and having it insulated and made of stainless works well. The coffee stays hot while it is steeping, and I don’t have to worry about breaking a glass liner (which I have done on several prior presses). For what I need it is close to ideal, and is very attractive with it’s bright mirrored finish. I should add that I use a finer grind that is normal for a French Press and then run it through a #4 Cone Fillter to remove any sediment.
