Very Flimsy, Will Be Returning I usually do not write reviews, but I really had to for this product. Based on all of the positive reviews, I decided to buy this “cheap and high quality” french press. I’m now a little suspicious that the positive reviews are fake. As another reviewer shows in her video, the lid does not fit the body of the press and wiggles around during use. In addition, the plunger itself came bent and scratched and is in general flimsy. Combined with the ill-fitting lid, this makes the press mechanism…
Unbelievable value! To be honest, the only reason why I bought this, was because it was the cheapest french press available with Amazon Prime shipping. The reviews were good, and that played into my decision as well, but cost bar none was the main factor.With that said, I was replacing a $40 French press that somehow went missing, I have no idea how. Glass is flimsy and broke This was good for the price. I don’t have a dishwasher so it might be better if you have one. I had it a month to the day and it broke. You have to unscrew the top piece to wash it but the little knob loosened so I couldn’t take that apart anymore. I was washing it and the glass broke in my hand this morning. So that’s not cool. I would say the pieces and glass are flimsy, but for the price I can’t really expect more I guess.
