READ BEFORE BUYING! This was a great replacement, worked perfectly…..but was an unnecessary purchase for me. Good product and timely shipping, so out of respect for the seller I’ll just keep it in case I do need it some day. Try the following before buying:
lifesaver This was a lifesaver as the top icemaker broke first.When the bottom one finally went I was seriously thinking if just tossing this 3 year old refrigerator and buying a new one.Glad I bought this first. It not only popped in easily with only two screws, it also fixed everything that was wrong with the original.All for less than a service call.
Easy Install. Perfect fit. The assembly was easy to drop in. Again, watch a few you tube videos about taking the front door off to the refrigerator and it will be much easier. Otherwise just two bolts and a plug. Pretty easy once you can lay down inside the freezer (mine is a bottom freezer). Might be able to do it without taking the door off but I can’t really see how.
