it simple, cheap, and it works i looked at all, and i mean all the tea makers. from 10 bucks to much more. i ordered this 10 dollar one and the oster tea maker. ran a cleaning cycle with the oster, and when i went to make a pot of tea it would not turn on. good design, but it is a piece of junk. so it is being returned today. i’m so glad i ordered this sunbeam tea maker. it ain’t fancy, you are limited to using only the supplied pitcher unless you can figure out a pouring trough for the maker into another pitcher. but in 4…
Works Like A Charm! I don’t normally leave reviews; but since this tea maker has some mixed reviews, I thought I’d share mine. I just received the unit today and I immediately unpacked it, washed it and made a batch of tea (3 qts). It worked perfectly! No mess, no dribbling, no nothin’ but really good iced tea! Nice but Messy This iced tea maker was a Christmas present for my wife and upon trying to make a batch of Iced Tea we found that it makes somewhat of a mess. The pitcher butts up to the brewer and as the tea brews it gets dumped into the pitcher. The pitcher doesn’t do a very good job of catching the tea so some of it ends up on the surface the iced tea make is sitting on.
