Bring back the old model I am so sorry to see that they have redesigned the steeping basket and no longer have the pull up bar. The tea flows right through quickly and does not have enough time to steep and is therefore very weak.
OK tea maker, but not as good as their last model. We owned one of the old Mr. Coffee tea makers for about 10 years. The pitchers broke from age and we could not find replacement pitchers. We bought this new one, and really don’t care for the new design. The tea bags now go into the blue holder on top of the pitcher and as the water goes into the “filter” there is no way to slow how fast it drains into the pitcher, which means using the same amount of tea bags as before, we end up with weaker tea. a great machine I bought this after having used one like it for the last year. It’s a great machine, and works with bog bagged tea and loose tea (with a coffee filter)
