Makes weak coffee and doesn’t contain the water. I bought this simply because it was cheap. I should have known better. The coffee that comes out is like a weak tea. Even a bold, dark coffee is weak. I drink coffee black so it’s all about the flavor. Maybe if you add cream and sugar it might be fine.
I figured it out! After using a single-serve maker a couple times this fall as a houseguest, and wanting for a long while a way to make the second and third cup in the morning taste as good as the first, I delved into single-serve reviews on Amazon. Ended up choosing this one. After some experimentation this morning, I figured out how to make the cup of coffee I like: strong and hot. First tried using two of the pods that came with the machine. Yuck. Then tried loading up an Eco-pod with my own ground coffee…
Great little coffee maker. Bought this for my office. There is ever kind of coffee person in my office, a snob, a “purist”, a general consumer, and be a cheap owner!!… All in all, this was a investment. It is very in expensive and the pod system is not bad. The snob does not mind the “kona or Colombian” pods, the purist has not choice and the rest just are happy to have free coffee. The maker is great, just add pod, water and push a button. 2 minutes later you have a very nice cup of coffee. If…
