Great, inexpensive machine for single-cup use. Did not purchase this from Amazon, either – but it is a great, inexpensive machine. Be sure you get model number 49997R – the original model without the R on the end had problems, and had to be redesigned. Seems to work just fine, as long as you don’t mind having to fill it with water for each cup you brew. There is no large water reservoir. Makes an excellent cup of coffee, and will use ground coffee if you prefer, as it includes a gold filter basket. Interestingly, the K-cup mechanism…

I am so very glad I bought it , the BEST Hamilton Beach has ever made I know I bought several and had to RETURN them , this one is a KEEPER ! Make sure you have the R on the end !
