In order for Coffee beans to develop their full flavor profile, they must be ground right before coming in contact with hot water. This is where Bodum Bistro electric Coffee grinder comes in and becomes part of the Coffee making ritual. This grinder is continuously adjustable by simply twisting the upper bean container to determine how finely ground The beans will be. While most Coffee grinders Use plastic containers that statically charge the powder, This Bistro grinder uses a static-free borosilicate glass container. It also features a tight Red silicone/nylon lid and matching silicone band to make it slip-proof, an especially important feature when touched with wet hands. 4-7/10″ L x 6-1/10″ W x 10-4/5″ H

Now, when it wouldn’t grind correctly I must have read the instructions a dozen times to see if I missed something. The company must consider this small collar, that just sits on there, part of the grinder…

Matte finish fails after about 2 years, body turns into Sticky Mess. Works well but the spray on matte finish they use on plastic the body to give it texture fails after about two years. Mine has only ever been wiped down with a damp rag and sits on a counter near nothing else, so their is no real reason I can see for this other than poor finish/material choice. Now the body is a sticky mess.Today out of desperation, I have found if I use 200 proof denatured alcohol, I can start to remove the outer finish and get to shiny smooth plastic…

I haven’t had it long enough to comment on durability, but I would expect it to last at least a couple years without issues. However, as other…
