You get what you pay for. On average, we go through one of these units per year. But, you only pay in the $30-$40 range for this piece of equipment, so you can’t really expect it to last forever. If you want durable construction (read: not plastic) then you must purchase a more expensive unit. If you want REAL cappuccino, you have to spring for the $2000 cappucino maker.
Great coffee, but lots of quirks Although this system makes a great cup of coffee, there are several annoying and bothersome quirks:
Great Machine!! I have had this machine now for about 6 months and I love it!! It is so great not to have to measure coffee, grab a filter and wait for the coffee to finish brewing. This makes close to 16 oz in about 90 seconds or less, coffee that is actually hot!! I find it helpful to buy those paper coffee cups you can get at the warehouse clubs and lids, so it brews and I go…fantastic!! Only thing is I hope in their future models they make the product with more metal and less plastic? It seems a little…
