The top-down fill approach is sheer genius – its simple, easy to work, and utterly reliable. The pitcher has a very stable base, and its made of a heavy clear plastic that is very durable. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is that the unit doesn’t have an automatic shutoff, but in practice that’s a small nit. We are very pleased with this product.
Great for making small amounts of Iced Tea!!! I’m single and only make tea for myself. This is the perfect size for 1 or 2 people and not have wasted tea left over. It is very easy to use and clean. There are settings on the basket for Strong or Weak tea depending on your taste. It also makes iced coffee (but I won’t be making that in here due to not wanting to cross the two flavors). I also like that this unit is very durable and seems hard to break.
