Huge LEAK on first use! Nice coffee STAINS ON CARPET! We got this for our team event. On its very first use, it started leaking profusely when the coffee was getting hot. It stained the carpet very nicely – not! So if you have light-colored carpet, beware of this West Bend coffee urn. A little “screwy” We have bought 2 of these pots now to use for large group gatherings weekly. It does the job needed and is a fair price. The reason we had to buy a second is because shortly after getting the first we noticed it sounded like there was a screw loose somewhere in the base. The unit still worked so we continued to use it.
