Whether for a ristretto, an espresso, or a café crème, the Poemia’s Top 15-bar pump pressure and patented portafilter makes optimal use of the brewing pressure to produce a true Italian espresso. With every use, the Poemia creates hazel-brown crema and extracts the ideal flavor from the coffee. The portafilter also has an Easy Serving Espresso (ESE) pod adapter with filter basket, which enables you to use prepackaged, single-serve shots.
Pannarello Steam Wand for Frothing Milk and Hot Water
It’s simple to prepare traditional frothed milk with the Poemia’s steam nozzle–just insert the Pannarello steam wand into the milk and froth until it reaches the consistency you prefer. Control lights show when your Poemia is ready to brew or steam, so you can prepare a cappuccino or latte macchiato with the press of a button.
The nozzle is also a convenient source of hot water for tea, hot chocolate, and other beverages. The frothing tip can easily be removed for cleaning.

Good coffee but lasted barely 13 months I bought a Philips Saeco and it broke after 2 weeks of good coffee making. They sent me a new one free of charge.
What a great little machine! This is a great espresso machine on a budget. I previously got a De’Longhi BAR32 Retro and returned it after a week of struggling to get good espresso trying any kind of tamping and grounding techniques. The Poemia is so much better. The key is that the portafilter is pressurized and there is no need to tamp the coffee grounds precisely. There is a valve that automatically opens when the pressure is optimal for brewing. Great expresso for little money ! The first cup of espresso I made with this machine was better than any cup I bought from a coffee shop. Usually I can’t do anything in the kitchen very well so the result was surprising, to say the least. This was the cheaper black Poema which cost under $80.
