Blending simplicity with state-of-the-art technology, this stylish, compact, super-automatic espresso/coffee machine provides an array of convenient features. Thanks to the graphic display and user-friendly icons of its large, interactive, touch-screen display, it’s easy to prepare espresso or a favorite coffee drink with only minimal effort in just a few seconds. In addition, the Saeco Brewing System (SBS) makes it simple for anyone to brew coffee precisely to individual taste. Turning the dial located on the front of the dispensing head to the right delivers a robust Italian espresso; turning it to the left delivers a milder, American-style cup of coffee. The SBS feature regulates the amount of water pressure used to brew each cup, which changes the consistency and flavor of the espresso.

Along with its 15-bar pump pressure and stainless-steel boiler, the machine also includes an adjustable conical burr grinder, a 10-ounce bean hopper, a 68-ounce removable water tank, and a used grounds container. The machine’s Aqua Prima water filter system reduces the number of flavor-altering substances often found in water, including micro-particles, trace amounts of metals, bacteria, and other impurities. The Aqua Prima filter also increases the longevity of the machine by reducing the build up of lime scale in the boiler.

Virtually noise free, the machine’s durable built-in ceramic grinder allows for an even grind without affecting the flavor of the coffee. The removable brew group provides a noticeably more intense flavor with up to 12 grams of coffee per cup. The brew group removes easily and can be cleaned by rinsing under warm running water–there is never any need to use chemicals to clean the brew group or machine. Other useful details include a steam wand with Rapid-Steam technology for frothing milk, an automatic decalcifying cycle, Saeco aroma system, and Saeco OptiDose, as well as a dual-spout dispensing head, hot-water nozzle, cup-warming surface, and swivel base. Housed in sleek stainless steel, the espresso machine measures 15 by 11-3/4 by 15-3/4 inches and carries a one-year warranty.

From the Manufacturer

The newest Saeco fully automatic machine is designed with the serious coffee drinker in mind. The Incanto Sirius blends new user-friendly features with the very latest in brewing technology and introduces several new innovations from Saeco. First and foremost, the Saeco Brewing System (SBS) makes it easy for anyone to brew coffee precisely to their individual taste. The SBS dial regulates the amount of water pressure used to brew each cup, which changes the consistency and flavor of the espresso. This makes it easy for anyone to experience individual flavor, with one turn of the dial. Whether it is an intense Italian ristretto (turn the knob to the right) or an American-style long coffee (turn the knob to the left) SBS satisfies all tastes, giving a full flavor and a truly unique finish. It’s even possible to change the amount of coffee beans used for each beverage, from 6 to 9 grams, by using the OptiDose adjustable doser. By adjusting the amount of coffee, you can adjust the strength, from weak to strong, without changing the amount of water used. A pre-brewing cycle injects a small amount of hot water into the freshly ground coffee to maximize the flavor extraction. Decaf or flavored coffee can be brewed by using the bypass doser with any kind of ground coffee.

As easy as it gets Have had this unit for about 4 months now. It gets a lot of use in my house.

Steamed…… For $1500 there is way too much plastic on this machine. The plastic latch which opens the front door is paper thin and very small. It will be broken by the first person who reaches for it with any less than subtle pressure. The machine is gorgeous to look at. It espresso production is flawless and very flexible. The machine turns off if the water hopper is low. That should save the pump in the event of low/no water situation. The dregs hopper shows full way before it is. That is a minor…

exasperation I purchased a Sirius Incanto coffee machine a little more than 1 month ago. I had problem immediately. The first machine snapped and popped then I asked for coffee and it would grind my coffee and discard it to the dreg drawer, dry. Would not make coffee. I spoke to the techie at Cafe West and he agreed that the machine probably needed a new brew group and sent another. I inserted the unit and the machine did the same thing: snap, pop, rattle, discard ground coffee, stop.
