Good cup of joe Had a big eclipse party and couldn’t see doing pressed or espresso for 40 so I got this and it actually produces a acceptable cup of coffee.
200oz of coffee not 320oz and takes forever to get hot Instruction manual states that 1 cup = 5 oz. When choosing this product we figured like most people that 1 cup = 8 oz. This was a disappointment as it does not meet our needs in terms of quantity needed. Next…the instruction manual says to fill with cold water. Filled this unit with 40 “cups” of cold water. The urn percolated with the cold water. It took 45 minutes to get the water/coffee to hot temperature. The lid is not well insulated and leaked steam. Considering sending the 2nd…
Just right! I chose this to replace a non-working coffee maker for our small church’s social hours. It does a great job, just what we needed. Easy to use, keeps the coffee hot for a long time, and attractive enough to suit our needs.
