Quick and Easy
Francis Francis Y1.1 is designed to make quality espresso preparation both quick and easy. Simply lift the lever, insert your favorite iperEspresso capsule, use the touchpad to select your preferred volume setting (a 1 oz espresso or 2-3 oz lungo) and in under 90 seconds the coffee will brew and stop automatically, for an exceptional cup of coffee. Francis Francis Y1.1 also comes equipped with a removable 23.7 ounce water tank for easy refilling as well as an adjustable cup drip tray to accommodate almost any cup size. Unique capsule design used capsule storage mean virtually no mess or clean up.

iperEspresso Capsule System
Unlike conventional one-stage systems, the iperEspresso capsule system uses a two stage extraction process to create an exceptional, full bodied espresso that bursts with rich aromas. During the first stage, water enters the capsule, saturating the coffee which allows flavors to develop and intensify. In the second stage, the coffee exits through a valve specially designed to enhance the body and aroma while also creating a velvety crema topping. Both stages occur directly inside the capsule never letting the coffee come in contact with the machine, meaning virtually no mess or clean up.

If you’re looking for starbucks, Kcups or regular joe, look away…. I like to pull my own espressos with a Breville 15 bar pump machine, which is a process starting with selecting the bean, grinding it just right, measuring and tamping with the right amount of pressure…to get the perfect super strong, black gold and crema without the bitterness of starbucks garbage, and more flavorful than those Kcup dishwater coffees. I guess I’m a coffee snob, but I don’t like that label – I just love a good espresso and won’t waste my time drinking sub par coffee…
Nice machine Nice product I have no complaints, fast shipping and good espresso. good for making those coffee drinks you pay 5.00 each in a coffee shop for a little bit less.. the espresso runs about 80¢ to 1.00 each shot
I’m now drinking way too much espresso… Excellent espresso made easy. No cleanup. Pulls a shot in less than two minutes. I tried the comparable Nespresso and Keurig machines, this one wins hands down for quality. Subscribe through Amazon, or directly from illy and have your coffee delivered to your door. There’s a limited coffee selection compared to the other two major systems, but who cares? The illy coffee varieties are all first rate and excellent, something you can’t say that about the others.
