Waterdrop Advanced MWF filters are tested and certified by NSF International against NSF 53 for the reduction of health-related contaminants including Lead, Cyst, Benzene, Carbofuran and Endrin, and against NSF 42 for aesthetic effects by reducing Chlorine, Taste and Odor.

The filters are tested and certified by NSF International against NSF 372 for lead free.

Save your money, get these filters instead! This is the second time I’ve purchased these Waterdrop filters, and I waited to post a review until I put at least one full filter through its paces (until the fridge told me to change it). They are, as far as I can tell, identical to the GE filters that cost 4x as much!I used the filter that came in my brand new fridge until it was time for a change, then switched to one of these. Great filter at a great price… .Excellent filter with a really cool replacement device on the side of each filter, which you detach and affix to an included refrigerator magnet that when activated will display when it’s time to replace the filter. It’s greatt to know that this filter does exactly what the OEM filter is designed to do but at 1/3 of the cost of having the refrigerator manufacturers name on the side of the filter. Reuse old Rubber gaskest I bought this replacement filter to see if it works just the same. It came to the house took out the old filter and notice the the old one had a rubber gasket on there and the new ones did not. I just took the gasket off the old one and place it one the now one and so far no problems.
