Get the MultiPack This is a very basic and easy to install water filter for your Kenmore fridge â it takes less than 30 seconds start to finish assuming you have already taken the new one out of the box. If I had one thing for improvement I would recommend Sears / Kenmore had designed it to last longer, as this one is fairly thin and small and doesnât seem to have the capacity of when I used to own a GE fridge â then again, Sears wouldnât have the recurring revenue stream if they had made them have a practical…
This filter doesnât fit!! This filter doesnât fit and the male end doesnât even look like the original. A complete waste of money and, more importantly, time!
Unacceptable Filter “Amazon’s choice”, low cost, so I tried it and found the filter to be ineffective. I could not drink the water due to its taste. I tried the second filter just in case the first was a random failure. Same problem. So, I went back to my prior filters (still from Amazon site) and the water is once again filtered well and tasting fine. I was obligated to give this 2 stars because it fit and did not leak in my refrigerator. I ended up eating the cost of both filters. Lesson learned.
