Perfect Find! Had been buying GE Brand water filters from Lowe’s for about 9 years at a cost of over $54 each (with tax). Never had a problem, so I was a bit hesitant to try an “off brand” water filter at less than half the price (even if it claimed to be compatible). I was pleasantly surprised. It was very easy to install, fit perfectly, and (to my knowledge) works just fine. Not really sure if it eliminates everything that the GE Brand filter did, but there is no detectable difference. Will continue to buy these filters at great savings.
Excellent replacement versus OE filters. Filter is WAY better than I expected. The fit was perfect in my GE Monogram french door refrigerator. As far as filtration goes, the water tastes as good as it did with the OEM filter, however there is a major plus with this filter over the stock one. The water flows about 2.5 more quickly. Gone are the days of standing at the fridge at 2am waiting for a glass of water to fill for 45 seconds. It now takes about 15 seconds to fill a glass and I couldn’t be happier. GE filters b’gone!
