Flush at least two gallons before drinking. Installed my first filter and my fridge water works like a charm.Remember – when first installing a filter, TURN OFF YOUR ICE MAKER and flush a MINIMUM of two gallons of water before drinking, then turn the ice maker back on. That was the one thing I noticed – the filter has a lot of carbon activant residue that needs to be flushed. I flushed about 5 gallons before attempting to drink the water. But it tastes great!

MWF Replacement Filters These filters are awesome. They are much cheaper then the GE Brand and they seem to last longer. I install one about every six months. The water tastes good and there is no sediment in your glass.
