Found the specs, very very similar to original GE filter I wanted to know the specs on the aquafresh supco filter compared to the GE model. Both filters use the same carbon block technology.Comparing the two specs, out of the 8 categories I could compare, aquafresh was less than <1% better in asbestos, mercury, and carbofuran. Aquafresh and ge tied on lead and lindane. GE was less than 1% better in atrazine, benzine, and chlorine.Supco’s NSF certification is pending according to their site listed below.Here…

Will not reset filter light !! I ordered these filters months ago, just now had to use the first one. The Replace filter light…. will not reset. Researching online I discover the original GE and GE oem filters have a RFID chip embedded in them. So…this filter flows quicker and seems fine, but my filter light comes on with every water dispense. Have not found remedy yet.. as others say..It is a money grab by GE to make you use their filters. Solutions are welcomed ✌👍

2 out of 3 filters were bad. Quality control issues are too big of a risk, despite bargain prices. Bought a 3 pack a long time ago, the first filter install was great with only a slight difference compared to GE brand filters. However, the issues started 6+ months in when I replaced the 1st filter with #2 of the 3 pack and the water flavor was horrible. Instead of tasting like filtered water, I can only describe the the flavor as “filter soaked” water. I did give the filter a chance by running through roughly 25-30 gallons, hoping the initial bad taste would pass but it never…
