Installation Instructions: 1. Gently lift the old cartridge away from housing until the first release, and then lift again to remove. 2. Align the top of the filter with cartridge holder and push until the cartridge is fully seated. 3. Ensure its fully seated and locked (otherwise water will not flow), gently rotate the filter (inward for BF models and downward for SxS models) until it can no longer rotate. 4. Run water from the dispenser around 2-3 gallon to clear any particles and remove air from the system. Works Great in a GE refrig if you take the chip tag off the original They work great in my GE refrigerator at a fraction of the cost – WHEN I take the chip tag off of the original and tape it onto these. The clock does not reset but I can live with that at this price. GE should be ashamed.
