Fits well where the Samsung brand filter fits, but provides a different scope of filtration as I describe in the review. Prices for Samsung brand DA29-00020B filters are pretty steep, and a variety of generic brand replacements are available. Save a lot of $$! I’ve bought name brand S—–g filters for my fridge for 3 years. It is a painful purchase, as we know how inflated those prices are! I’ve seen look-alikes on Amazon in the past, but there were just enough bad reviews to scare me back to L—-s (home-improvement-store) for the genuine part. Well, THIS Amazon brand was new. The price was shockingly reasonable, and I stood there in L—-s this week, their genuine S—–g filter in one hand and my phone in the other…contemplating this purchase…

So far, so good. I was a little hesitant about buying these. The OEM price for ONE filter is $50. So the price for 3 of these filters seemed to be too good to be true.It took some work to get the filter into place but once I figured out I had to orient it correctly it went in. I ran 2 full half-gallon pitchers of water to flush the filter but was surprised to see no particles or bubbling. The water tastes good and no chlorine odor (which I’m really sensitive to).Final take…
