Flooded our house due to filter plastic housing failure. Use at your own risk. The first filter we installed from this 3 pack flooded our home. We heard what sounded like an explosion and found our kitchen flooded from the refrigerator to the other side of the house. Opened the refrigerator to see water pouring out of this filter. Better than the original. This seems to have better water flow than the original GE filter it is replacing. Also, it does not take as much water to flush on start-up. I was concerned that the cartridge actually rattled when I shook it gently. However, the taste of the water coming from the refrigerator is at least as good as it was with the GE filter, at a much lower price. With these filters available, only stinking, foolishly rich folks should be buying the GE filters I bought the 3 pack. This brings the price down to about $12 each. When compared with the price of the GE or other name brand filters at $30 apiece, a persob would have to be an idiot to continue to buy the GE. In fact, I think that these filter better than the GE and have a better water flow. So, unless you and your family are just filthy, stinking, spend for no reason rich, buy these filters in the 3 pack. You will be happy, and the rich folks will be happy that the GE filter never runs…
