Tastier coffee Had some trouble with the ground beans getting stuffed in the shoot – we’ve had that happen three times, even though we switched to the medium roast beans as recommended. Hopefully it won’t keep happening, because cleaning that out is a pain. I had to use a can of computer air spray to get all the bits out of the shoot. But when it’s working it makes great coffee – which is most of the time.
Buyer Beware I have owned two of these machines and both are now in the trash after less than a year of use. There are numerous issues, but the main one is that after some use, the water reservoir does not completely drain…set it for 10 cups and you get around 8. Pretty stong coffee!
Get a Mr. Coffee and save your dough This the last Cuisinart Coffee maker I will ever own! I’ve gone through 5 Cuisinart coffeemakers over the past few years, each time spending more money thinking maybe this time it will be a good one. Each has been worse than the one before.
