Terrible This machine is such a pain! Sometimes it works… lots of times it doesn’t. Cleaning the chute every 7 uses is a pain, filling the water reservoir is difficult, and the carafe spills every time you pour (bad design). The biggest problem is there is a top to the filter that spins to get in the right place for grinding or brewing and almost every other time i use it it doesn’t line up right and i have to turn it off and on over and over again before it lines up and makes the coffee…

My husband and I love this coffee maker My husband and I have been using this coffee maker for over a year and a half and we love it!! We mostly use fresh coffee beans, so we use the coffee grinder feature a lot. When we cleaned it for the first time, it was easy to do and watch along with the ‘How-To’ DVD. If we had to list one complaint it would be that when you get to the bottom of the carafe and need to pour the coffee out, you literally have to turn the carafe upside down (twisting your arm a little). Maintaining this coffeemaker is a full-time job Do NOT buy this coffeemaker unless you want to spend your life taking care of it. Every criticism I have read here is true; however, I either wasn’t aware of or didn’t pay attention to them before I bought it. Have had it for a couple of years now, and I can neither afford to buy a new one nor want to admit defeat in getting it to work. When it DOES work, it makes good coffee. The problem is, there are so many things that can go wrong, and there doesn’t seem to be any surefire way of knowing…
