Burr Grinder

The DirectFlow grinder assembly seamlessly dispenses grounds directly into the brew basket. An AutoRinse feature ensures no grounds are left behind after the grinding process.

Although called a grinder the machine actually uses bean crushing process to release more of the oils and flavors that create the best-tasting coffee. The texture of the grind is critical as well – too fine, and it may clog the filter. Too coarse, and water passes through too quickly to extract the full coffee flavor.

Water Quality

Coffee is 98% water. The quality of that water is as important as the quality of your coffee. If water doesn’t taste good from the tap, it won’t taste good in your coffee. Cuisinart includes a charcoal water filter to remove chlorine, bad tastes and odors, for the purest coffee flavor.
