Average at best The first refurbished pot like this lasted only two pots of coffee and would not even come on afterward. The replacement so far is doing good. Two negatives I noticed right off are, the lid on the carafe, it snaps on and is not hinged. It makes it very unhandy for filling. The other negative is the clock. It is a tiny LCD display that is recessed in the housing. This makes it virtually unreadable without a flashlight and magnifier. I do like the cone filters although they are more expensive…

Fabulous coffee pot! Love my new coffee pot! This one is great because the coffee really pours out HOT! Not lukewarm at all. The “pot is ready” alarm is a fabulous feature, as well as the 2 beep warning when the pot will auto shut off. It takes cone filters just like my last coffee pot so I didn’t need to buy new ones. The clock is not backlit…it’s digital but doesn’t light up. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my purchase!

Troubles with refurbished models This rating is for the factory refurbished models. We have had to return 2 of them. The first one would not even turn on. The second one leaked water out of the tank as soon as it will filled with water. It seemed to have a bad seal or bad gasket near where the cone protrudes out and makes contact with the carafe. Apparently the Cuisinart “refurbishing” process leaves much to be desired.
