Research Brewing Techniques!! LOVE this coffee maker. I purchased this maker a few years ago for cold brew. After trying it out I shelved it for a few years not realizing I could make hot brew. I did not and do not like cold brew. So about two months ago I pulled this out to get rid of it and realized I knew nothing about it so I checked the internet for info and found out I could use it for hot brew. Itâs ok… Works for our needs I like this coffee maker a lot but wish it was taller so you could fit a cup underneath and remove it without spilling the coffee. I am also disappointed that the bottom part of the coffee maker is wooden. It is not easy to clean and wish it was a more durable material since coffee drips on it a lot. Love the fact that there are no plastic parts of this coffee maker!! I have been reading scary stuff about heating plastics recently so this coffee pot is perfect in that regard!!
Nice looking but it leaks It leaks, people have complained over & over but they don’t fix it. 5 stars for cuteness. 3 stars for the turn knob that’s supposed to stop the coffee from coming out leaks. Mine started after 2 uses. I had read this in the reviews before & hoped they heard their customers. They did not. Also IMO it’s overpriced for what it is. On the bright side is a simple but elegant design great for small talk.
