This is the perfect coffee maker! I bought my first Krups Arome Time coffee maker a few YEARS ago, and I’m buying my 2nd one today. The timer functions are wonderful. I love being able to pour the water, add the coffee, & turn the auto-timer switch to “ON”, then when I’ve finished beating up the snooze alarm in the morning, I have a nice fresh pot of coffee waiting for me. You only have to set the time that you want the brewing to begin once, and it remembers; after that, just turn on the switch.
New, Improved I owned this pot when it first came out, a bunch of years ago. I have to say the new one I got this week is entirely that – new. The shape of the pot is somewhat different and it is easier to pour without drips. There is even a small opening on the back to collect the condensation that runs down the back on the outside. The controls feel much more substantial, and some are now mechanical (the digital ones went on my old pot.)
Krups 467-71 Crystal Arome Time 10-Cup Coffeemaker, White This is a wonderful coffee maker. I wish it was still on the market. It is so ergonomical the way the coffee carafe fits into the coffeemaker surrounding and protecting it. It is also an attractive, streamlined, tidy package. It is not a big square, akward, industrial, bulky looking coffeemaker, which is allot of what is on the market now. If you do not like stainless steel today, you are out of luck.
