Almost perfect I love coffee, and have had a french press in the past, and while I love the mouth feel of press coffee there was always fines no matter how coarse I ground my beans. This pot leaves practically none, the coffee stays reasonably hot for about an hour which is better than my old glass one. The build quality is great, it feels like I will get many years out of it.One minor complaint is the amount of liquid trapped under the plunger, it is significant. I wish it could extract a bit…

Great product for keeping French press coffee hot! This is a good french press. It is double walled and keeps the coffee hot after you plunge. It looks great and can be placed on the table for people to serve. The nature of the plunging mechanism does leave a little bit of coffee at the bottom but it significantly reduces the amount of sediment if you don’t like that. That said there is still a little bit of very fine sediment at the bottom but that could be related to the type of grinder you use. I’m using a baratza encore…

My Espro looks great, with the brushed stainless steel My Espro looks great, with the brushed stainless steel. I have had only two opportunities to use my new Espro. Though I’ve used french presses in the past, I’ve never approached making french press by weighing the coffee. I had it dialed in by the second pot. The finer mesh, dual-basket, approach made smooth, rich coffee. The vacuum-sided pot keeps the coffee warm for quite a while. I’m very impressed.
