Better Than Moccamaster I bought this machine to replace a Technivorm Moccamaster that I thought overpromised and underdelivered. The Bonavita actually makes better coffee than the Technivorm. Using the same grind, coffee, water, and amount, the Bonavita produced a more extracted, more flavorful cup. I love this coffee maker I love this coffee maker! I had a really hard time deciding between the 5 cup and this one. I wanted a good coffee maker, compact, and a glass carafe.I have had this one 5 days and I love it. It is smaller than any other 8 cup I have seen so yes it is compact. The actual length is right at about 9 1/2 inch’s and the height is right at 11 1/2 inch’s. There were so many different measurements listed looking at it on different sites.
