Big, big mistake. Do not purchase. I had a 40 year old Braun coffee maker which was excellent. And then it broke. I attempted to replace it with this terrible update. Slow, weak and had to get an adaptor plug which enabled it to be plugged in but failed to adjust the European voltage. Stay away!!!

My familty got me the Bran KF47 for Christmas in North America, USA, Florida, that was equiped with an european electrical plug. In oder for it to work, my family rushed out and got an adpater plug so I would be surprised with fresh coffee Christmas morn. The kids returned to college and I just discovered the plug, which explains why it takes so long…
