If you own wide coffee cups, read this Good non-plastic manual drip coffee maker. However, a lot of our coffee cups are the wider large cups. (Soup bowls, my husband calls them…) This dripper is designed for the taller, narrower mugs. So, what I did was take a plastic deli lid and cut a hole in it. It makes a great adapter!

Makes great coffee, but you DO have to know how to use it Excellent quality, and practically indistinguishable from a Hario dripper. An obvious suggestion to the seller would be to make it very clear what kind of filters are to be used. A lot of negative reviews clearly stem from using the wrong filters. This dripper requires #2 Hario filters which are cone shaped, and not Melitta #2 filters which are flat bottomed. Makes the best coffee! I purchased the white ceramic Tanors #2 Coffee Dripper to replace a #1 ceramic Hario Coffee Dripper because it was more affordable and I’m very happy with.
