Glass bowl cracked under normal use after only 45 days. The low rating reflects the poor quality of the product and customer service of Bodum. We ordered a Bodum ePEBO Coffee maker as a replacement to the old one that we had been using for many years. We have been using Bodum vacuum coffee makers for over 10 years. First one we bought lasted for well over 5 years when the neck of the plastic bowl used to contain coffee grounds broke. We bought a a similar model, also consisted of a plastic upper bowel for coffee grounds, which still functions…
Not As Good As the 1st Generation This machine makes great coffee when it works. Unfortunately, there’s a frequent issue that causes the coffee to get stuck in the top reservoir. By the time the coffee siphons back to the main pitcher, it is warm. No good
Outstanding! It makes the best cup Ive had. Several months of everyday brewing. Makes the best clean, flaverfull coffee I’ve had. Takes about 11 min from the time you press the start button. Completely automatic though. From start to finish, completly shuts down with a notification beep and an option to press “keep warm” button. The funnel top is made of glass meant to withstand heat. So it’s brittle but heat resistant. You can’t accidentaly bang it against the faucet when rinsing it out, it will crack or break. The plastic pot…
