There’s more to great coffee than choosing exquisite beans and the right brewing method. Freshly grinding the beans right before they come in contact with hot water makes the difference in taste that real coffee connoisseurs appreciate. The bistro blade grinder is the perfect tool for this. It’s small enough to stay put on the counter for easy access and its cable can be stored inside the grinder at the bottom. It’s got a transparent lid so the fineness grade can be observed. The longer the grind the finer the powder. This powerful and handy grinder is made from stainless steel, plastic and rubber and it comes in a selection of black, orange, red, green, and white to fit any kitchen counter’s color scheme. The bistro grinder can also be used to grind spices and what’s. We think it’s quite cute.

Cute, Easy, and Great Quality. I love this grinder. It does just what it is supposed to do and in an efficient time! My only complaint is that it is supposed to be cleaned with a small dry brush but does not come with one. Usually when a special tool is needed to fit in a nook or cranny of a product that tool is included. It would not cost this company very much to make a tiny matching brush that could be stored creatively on the grinder. I got a flexible headed children’s toothbrush to clean it but it still doesn’t fit…

Fooled by the look, function sub-standard This grinder definitely looks great, but it has two major flaws. First of all, when there is even a little bit of dirt (ie coffee grounds, the thing that this machine makes) between the lip on the lid and the little button that you press down to make it grind, it won’t work. I had read reviews that it was sensitive, but I thought that was an exaggeration. I keep mine super clean, but even just a few specs of coffee can keep this from working. You have to try to dust them away with your fingers…

Much better than my last 2 It is MUCH qieter than my last one – a Proctor SilexIt grinds more evenly, though I still shake it some which always seems to help. It’s got a place for the cord, though it is not as easy to store it as the old ones.It can grind a few more scoops than the last one.I don’t much like the switch, but if the grinder lasts for 2x as long as the old one I’ll bevery happy.4 stars because, well, it’s more expensive than many of the other highly rated blade…
