Exceeded all expectations, but 16 oz not 32 oz Everything about this coffee maker met or exceeded my expectations. (With one caveat, at the end of the review.)I’d heard that all “French Presses” deposit a very small amount of coffee grounds in your coffee. Great French press – if you’re making coffee for ants We ordered this French press specifically because it’s listed as a 3 cup capacity. There is no way that anyone can call this capacity 3 cups. It’s too bad, because the quality seems top notch. Easy to use, and we had 0 coffee grounds in the one mug we made. Just not large enough for our needs. Will return for something larger.

However, the description never mentioned the large plastic filter your coffee has to be poured through. There is, however, a California Proposition 65 cancer warning that I see now after looking closer and I’m sure this is because of the plastic filter. FYI plastic is not safe even when it’s ‘BPA free’, especially when you’re pouring hot liquid…
