I adore my simple and sleek Bodum toaster This is my second Bodum toaster of this exact model. After our brown one died after at least 7-8 years of daily use, we got the white/ivory one. It is slightly different than the picture, as the dial and lever knob on ours are actually black, not red. Looks better and more high end in person than in the photo in my opinion.This is a nice, simple, modern looking toaster that looks so good and sleek in my kitchen. It must be a bad spring or something I have only had this toaster for about a month, and when I was making toast this morning, the lever to lower the bread into the toaster refused to stay down. It must be a bad spring or something. Whatever it is, it’s unusable now. I am so bummed. I had my previous Bodum toaster for almost 8 years before I needed to replace it.
You get what you paid for. Does everything it promises and does it very well. Love the defrosting and warming features which are unique to many toasters. The wide slots make it easy to toast thick bagels. Quality workmanship.
