DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY. I’m not happy with this at all. I bought it specifically for the rotisserie option and as yet have had a horrible time cooking. The spiked tongs, once inserted and screwed tight, WILL move during cooking operation. And by move, I mean they will move to the point of pulling the rod out of the slot and it will not be rotating, but burning. I seriously regret wasting my money on this as the one option was really all I bought it for. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
it’s alright My chicken was a little over 5 lbs and it turned out nice. With that being said, I wouldn’t suggest trying to put anything heavier on the prongs. I, also, would suggest butcher twine/string to tie the legs up or they will flop around. Trial and error here. It cleaned up easy enough. I wiped down the inside and put the other removable parts in the dishwasher.
Finally found it! A wonderful toaster! I’ve been able to use it every day and love the ease of use, the buttons instead of flimsy electronics and especially the size. Other reviews are right about it getting very hot, especially the top – which is great for cooking veggies! But if you know it you can handle it like any stove or hot object. I keep it on a separate shelf with a lot of ventilation and treat it with care. I hope it lasts for many years.
