Not a good product. The handle melted off after the first use. I bought this crock-pot as a birthday gift for a friend. Recently, she sent me pictures of how the crock-pot performed the first time she used it. I have attached those pictures below. The handle completely melted off and the second handle is about to do the same. I assumed this crock-pot would be of high quality, but it isn’t. I am extremely disappointed and ashamed to give her such a low quality gift.
Poorly made. I purchased two of these, one by mistake. One of them came with the pot already damaged and was returned. The other has a hairline crack after only a few uses. We are avid crock pot cookers and use them exactly like we should. I don’t recommend this product as it is not made to last.
Did not heat properly Check the reviews on the Black and Decker website – there are a ton of reviews there that tell about the same problem I had: The slow cooker does not heat properly. I am making pulled pork for a church dinner, I used two similarly sized crockpots for two similarly sized pork roasts.
