Simple and functional Our last electric kettle spoiled us for stove-top varieties forever but lasted for barely a year so we’ll hope this lasts longer. After a few weeks we like some of its features better than our other models. The kettle itself is lighter than many I tried at a store and that matters since full of water you could sprain a wrist. Beep, Beep, Beep, Beep I would give this product a five star review if it were not for the unnecessary beeps. Every interaction with the machine results in at least one loud Beep. Remove the kettle – Beep. Press any button – Beep. Replace the kettle Beep. It could have one soft beep when the water has reached temperature and no more. One of the reasons why I bought this kettle was to make French press coffee instead of using my loud espresso machine while my wife is still in bed.
Very happy with this kettle. Our last electric kettle lasted about 8 years, and we needed a new one. After some research my wife selected this one. We have used it for a month, so I can’t talk about its long term reliability, but features, initial quality and function are all great. Looks nice, heats quickly, specific temperature controls, a reheat button are all nice features that we didn’t have with our last kettle. The glass window makes it easy to see the current level.
