Great machine and cool design We bought that machine as gift for our American friend by Amazon.com cause buying it in Germany, pack it ourselves and then mail it to NY would double the price easily. For us Europeans this machine is cheaper in the states. It’s 99€ (134.64$) here and $99 at Amazon.com.

Caffeine For Dummies My original Nespresso (four years old) bit the dust due to someone other than me leaving spent capsules to build up in the reservoir, which did something very weird to the capsule loading/ejecting mechanism. So, after its RIP curbside funeral, I tried to live without a Nespresso for a few months. Drip coffee was first. Unsatisfying. Then I hauled out my old espresso maker and realized after a few weeks that grinding my own beans, frothing the milk, and heating up a machine for fifteen minutes…
