Changed review a bit This is my 4th expresso machine in the last 20 years and my 2nd DeLonghi one. I love it. You do have to read and follow all the directions before getting started, you have to pre-heat and you can’t just turn it on and walk away like I have been able to do before. So, preparing the coffee does require your attention. But,it makes a great cup of espresso with nice crema. I can even froth for cappuccino with this one, which has been a challenge before. INCREDIBLE POWERFUL CUTE After my $500 dollar Breville broke after two years, I started shopping around for something good and not insanely expensive. Updated review with how to fix trickling issues. I use my DeLonghi religiously. It’s a little pricey but the money I saved on lattes paid for it in 3 months. I work at a coffee shop and wanted something of quality and, although this machine can take time to heat up, it’s very reliable. At least mine is. The manual clearly deliberates the fact that this machine cannot be run without water or it will cause severe damage, so all you got to do is keep it filled up.
