Great tamper! Heavy, well constructed, feels good on hand. Tamper gives consistent tamps with 30 lbs built-in spring, which gives way once your press/tamp reaches 30#. No audible ‘click’, but you know you’ve reached the right pressure once you feel the spring contract. Base unscrews for cleaning, but be careful to put all parts back in proper order. 😉 Love it!
Nice product for nice price Checking on a couple of scales, the 30lbs of pressure isn’t calibrated (came in at about +5lbs) but it will be consistent which is really what matters most. Nice product for nice price.
Comfortable and accurate tamper. The handle is a nice fit in my hand. I tested the spring pressure and it is very close to the stated force. It doesn’t “click” when fully depressed, but I can easily feel when it bottoms out. It is very durable and well made.
