does the job The pro is also the con on this baby. There is no auto shut off which is actually cool for a coffee addict like me until you accidentally leave it on and get that burnt pot to scrub. Kind of disappointed that my other mr coffee pots don’t fit with this model. I burn through a coffee pot a year since it is the most used item in the house and love to keep pots so I can throw them in the dishwasher every night. oh well.
