A little pricey but Great teapot (Not Made In China) The best teapot I have ever owned. Large thick glass with large opening at the top, a nice wide stainless steel basket that lets loose leaf tea expand fully. Classy design with a wide lip spout that does not drip all over. The only thing I would change if I were the Bodum company is I would make the handle out of metal instead of plastic, other than that this teapot is a winner.

It looks stylish but is not really functional. When … It looks stylish but is not really functional. When I have hot tea and pour it into cups, I needs to hold the lid and the top of the lid is too hot to touch. In addition, its shape makes it difficult to pour properly without leaking.

Well built; has filter; average heat retention; unsecured lid A very high quality tea pot. It includes a filter. I don’t personally care for its look, but opinions are opinions, and you already know what it looks like. In terms of functionality, it is terrific and I highly recommend it.
