Better coffee than the electric coffee machines! Excellent coffee maker in place of an electric coffee maker. Makes good coffee. Buy cone filters (#4) to put in the Bodum’s own Permanent Filter to get a better brew and won’t get the grinds at the bottom of the coffee maker.
Love it! I really love this product. Even more so than my French press. I am a self professed coffee addict and I use this often to make a delicious cup of coffee. The only thing I don’t like is the sludge you get in the bottom after brewing. However this happens with the French presses I’ve used too, so I just let the coffee sit for a bit in the carafe before pouring in to my cup. It let’s it settle out. The Bodum carafe is a winner! I have found this to be the best way to make coffee. I gave away my french press & coffee maker. The filter works well & is easy to clean. I grind my coffee beans , heat up water on the microwave , & in a minute have 2 cups of great coffee!
