Good Way to make coffee To make proper pour-over coffee, there’s all kinds of fancy equipment out there to filter your 137oz (or whatever) of water, heat it exactly to 204 F, pour it slowly in magical circles over 26oz of organic locally roasted fair trade coffee ground by a burr grinder that costs more than your house, etc.
Perfect for me. FANTASTIC! Makes great coffee and is so simple to use, easy to clean, looks great on the kitchen shelf. It’s not for everyone though. I drink about one to one and a half mugs (standard size American mugs) of coffee every morning and that is exactly how much this Bodum makes. I used a French Press for years but all of the Bodum presses are too big or too small for me. This pour over is the perfect size and makes coffee quicker than the press.
which is nice because you keep the oils but it also means … So I bought this when my office decided to get rid of our Keurig machines and get the lousy Flavia machines instead. People were stealing the K-cups to use at home, so I think this was punishment.
