VERY disappointing…. While I have written reviews before, this is my first negative one. I usually don’t “sweat the small stuff” and just chalk something up to being an unfortunate purchase and move on; however, I have found this purchase very frustrating for a couple reasons. I am currently staying with my sister to help her, while she battles cancer. She likes her morning coffee and when her coffee pot broke, I bought this one for her. So far so good… Please see the two photos attached. If you look closely, you will see that the carafe is different in the new packaging I received. I’ve also included a photo of the actual carafe that now comes with this model.

Worst Timed Coffee Pot Ever If you need a coffee pot with a timer, this is not for you. My coffee maker gains an incredible 15 minutes a day. Every 4 days I have to recycle it thru 23 hours just to get it close to when I now have to start it. I bought it as a replacement for a Sunbeam Coffee maker many years old that was on its last legs. Therefore, I didn’t start using this one for two months. Since that is too late to return it I am stuck with a $25 lemon. On the plus side it does reset fairly quickly.
