Does One Really Need an Iced Coffee Maker? Maybe… Since I gave up my regular Mr Coffee for a Keurig making iced coffee has been a little problematic for me — my Keurig is very basic, and the largest cup size is not what I consider to be adequate for a “real” iced coffee. Great alternative to buying iced coffee I do not like any hot drinks. Since McDonalds came out with iced mochas, I was a daily visitor to McDonalds. Once this product came out, I was skeptical beacuse of the reviews. I immediately fell in love with it. Love the machine, hate the pitcher I’ve been using this machine daily for about 6 months, and I’ve been loving it every day, but the pitcher just cracked on me. Apparently, the hot coffee dripping down the side of the plastic (before it gets to the iced cubes) is too much for the plastic to hold. I have not been able to find any replacement pitchers. I wish Mr. Coffee would make a better quality pitcher, but in the meantime, I will probably be purchasing a new machine. What can I say, I’m hooked.
