May require unexpected work. I purchased this item as a replacement for a broken Bodum Brazil 51 oz carafe. It seemed as if it would work, until I tried it. The glass is tiny bit too large. I decided to put the plastic press in hot water to loosen it and gently eased the glass into the carafe. I had to put the handle back into the hot water to make it pliable enough to stretch over the top of the glass.
Perfect Fit! I was nervous that this wasnt going to be the size I needed because when I measured it myself the measurements werent exactly the same as listed. The product was delivered on time but it was placed in a amazon box that was way too large for it…the amazon box had a smashed hole in it (thank you UPS…) and I thought for sure it was going to be broken. Good thing the beaker was in its own protective box with bubble wrap, othewise it would have been broken.
NOT AS DESCRIBED- MISS LABELED. I ordered a 12oz glass replacement for my french press. The box came and looked much larger, but still the sticker label stated it was “12oz/0.35l 3 cup” replacement glass.
